EKOHAM is a non-political, non-profit organization committed to the development of many sector's in India. EKOHAM began in 2021 It was registered under The Societies Registration Act of 1860 in 1983, and its headquarters are now located at NEW DELHI.

EKOHAM is now working in over 100 destinations.

Ekoham Foundation play a significant role in advocating for and implementing solutions to various social and environmental issues. EKOHAM FOUNDATION has been created for various reasons, and the causes that they promote are diverse. Here are some of the causes for which EKOHAM FOUNDATION is mainly formed:

EKOHAM FOUNDATION work towards mainly focusing on Heritage & Culture preservation at International level, encouraging Eco Tourism, Local Adventure Sports, encouraging employment for local natives in their own vicinities.

Employment: Creating employment opportunities for the underprivileged, especially those who are economically and socially disadvantaged. EKOHAM FOUNDATION may provide training and support to help people develop new skills, access job opportunities, and start their own businesses.

EKOHAM transfers knowledge to village communities through education and empowerment. EKOHAM strongly believes that collective participatory action is required for balanced and sustainable community development.

Living in rugged rural presents EKOHAM with many problems and with challenging working conditions. These hurdles are overcome by working in partnership with communities to develop practical solutions to the challenges faced by rural people. EKOHAM, by generating the desire in the underprivileged to improve their own living conditions, help people to live a life of dignity and self-respect.

Eco-tourism: Eco-tourism EKOHAM FOUNDATIONs focus on promoting responsible and sustainable tourism practices that are environmentally friendly. They aim to minimize the negative impacts of tourism on the environment and local communities while maximizing its economic benefits.

Environment: EKOHAM FOUNDATIONs focused on environmental issues work towards the protection and preservation of natural resources, such as forests, oceans, and wildlife. These organizations may engage in advocacy, awareness-raising, and direct action to address issues such as climate change, deforestation, and pollution. 

Some of the projects being undertaken by EKOHAM include watershed management in badly eroded landscapes, development of non-conventional energy sources such as bio-gas for household cooking, new technology in agriculture and related fields (horticulture and composting), community health care, and promotion of women’s groups and youth groups. EKOHAM see themselves as agents of change in terms of voluntary activity.
